For this project, I had to pick three animals, all of the same types, and create them with typefaces, each one in a different font. I choose birds, and I picked images of each bird to base my design on and choose a typeface that can work to get the right angles and make a realistic design. Some of the birds came out better than others, which was my biggest struggle. It was very hard to find a good typeface that could create the birds without just filling them in with letters completely. I created a swan, vulture, and peacock, all with different typefaces; the objective was for them to eventually blend together to create an animal typeface portrait series.
